Description
Français : Isola dei Pescatori, l'une des trois îles Borromées, situées dans le lac Majeur au large de la ville de Stresa (prov. de VB, région Piémont). Vue prise depuis le palais Borromée (dont on aperçoit une balustrade à l'avant-plan à gauche) sur l'île Isola Bella, appartenant au même archipel, et sise quelques centaines de mètres plus au sud-est (nous regardons donc vers le nord-ouest, dans l'axe longitudinal de l'île Pescatori). À l'arrière-plan au centre, sur la berge du lac, ville de Baveno, s'étirant au pied du mont Camoscio, visible à gauche, aux flancs écorchés consécutivement à l'activité d'extraction de pierre. Plus loin encore, au centre-droit, le mont Orfano, où des carrières sont également en activité. L'îlot au second plan à droite est le Scoglio (= écueil) della Malghera.
