In general make up the embodiment ofsize, quality and finish, showing as few objectionable points as are found in the verybest of animals; good feet, clean, flat legs, broad stifles, strong back, high withers, slopingshoulders, fine neck, small throttle, good ear, broad between the eyes, face slightlydished, indicating the resolution and energy he possesses, to which are added an uncom-mon quick movement. These are some of the qualities combined in this horse and goto make up what critical judges pronounce a choice draft horse. (For cut see page 26.) GRADES. While we breed nothing but pure bred stock at Island Home, wehave, and are prepared to furnish, very fine stallions and mares, wellgraded up, at very reasonable rates.
