עברית: נשיא המדינה יצחק הרצוג נושא את נאום "מזרח תיכון מתחדש" במסגרת ועידת האקלים של עיתון הארץ והאוניברסיטה העברית, שהתקיימה בירושלים. יום רביעי, כ"ב באדר א' תשפ"ב, 23 בפברואר 2022. קרדיט צילום: חיים צח/ לע"מ‬.
במסגרת הנאום סיפר הנשיא על פרוייקט התנשמות (Barn Owls), ושאותו מוביל בישראל פרופ' יוסי לשם. זוג תנשמות מחסל עד 6,000 מכרסמים בשנה, וניתן לעשות בכך שימוש הדברתי טבעי. וככה – מה שהתחיל עם 14 תיבות קינון בקיבוץ שדה אליהו, הגיע ל-5,000 תיבות בישראל, ועוד אלפים במקומות שונים באיזור, ובהם: ירדן, קפריסין, יוון, מרוקו ועוד. לאחרונה גם באמירויות הצטרפו למיזם.
