English: Iron Workers' Row, Museum of Welsh Life.. This row first saw the light of day in Merthyr Tydfil about 1800. Today, they house a historical range of household furnishings - oldest at 1805 nearest the camera, newest at 1985 furthest away. Over the cobbled lane, in front of the terraced row, are the gardens. Here are two pictures showing the interior of these houses in 1805 659405 and c1900 659421 style. |
