English: A complete, very worn, contemporary copy of an Iron Age gold stater of the Catuvellauni and Trinovantes (North Thames Eastern Region), struck by Cunobelinus dating to the period c. AD 8-41. Obverse description: corn ear with central stalk, with CA to left and [MV] to right. Reverse description: horse right, dashes for mane, possibly with branch above, CVN[O] below. Possibly as ABC no. 2777; BMC nos. 1784-1803; VA no. 1931. |
