English: A Roman opaque blue glass bead, circular, with convex side, pierced, slightly concave around the piercing on either face, and decorated using simple glass melt with three equidistant sub-circular eyes formed from red dots on white, flush with the surface. Guido's Class 3 (1978, 49). c. 1st century BC - 2nd century AD. Diameter 16mm. Height 10mm. Diameter of hole 4mm. Weight 3.0g. |
