Title
Iron Age coin: unit of uncertain type, probably of the Trinovantes
Description
English: A very worn copper-alloy Iron Age unit of uncertain type, probably of the Trinovantes (possibly Dubnovellaunos?), c.50 BC-43 AD. The coin has a slightly dished profile and has very worn, corroded surfaces making close identification problematic. It is presumably a very worn copper-alloy unit, although it cannot be ruled out that the coin is a core from a plated copy of a silver or gold issue.
