Title
Iron Age coin: bronze unit
Description
English: A late Iron Age bronze unit. This coin is heavily corroded, making exact identification difficult; it is, however, similar to ABC 2407 (=VA1669/BMC2446) attributed to Dubnovellaunos and ABC 2541 (=VA1615/BMC2450) and ABC 2544 (=VA1646/BMC2453) both attributed to Addedomaros. The coin is certainly of Eastern (Catuvellauni/Trinovantes) origin.

The coin has a sub-oval, dished flan and is corroded. It measures 12.8mm in diameter, 1.4mm thick and weighs 1.1g.
