Iron Age Penannular Brooch
Description
English: A copper alloy penanular brooch wth pin missing. Bent into shape from a single piece of faceted copper with terminals bent straight outwards, and with rounded knobs at the end, each containing an incised line around their circumference. Hattatt's type B2. The ring has an accentuated thickness away from the terminals and a trapezoidal cross section. 38.55mm diameter and 5.48mm maximum thickness of ring, the terminals are 14.08mm and 13.72mm long.
