Description
English: Iron Age gold coin of the Cantii Tribe, measuring 11.09mm in diameter and 2.03mm in thickness.

Early British uninscribed D 'Cheriton' type quarter stater dating from the late 2nd to mid 1st century AD. Van Arsdell type 143-1.

The obverse depicts a crescent with vertical projections along its upper side, with three pellets below it to the left, and two irregular shapes below the crescent to the right. The reverse Has a straight line intersected by a wavy line with three projections at its base. To one side of the wavy line is a crescent containing two pellets, to the other side of the wavy line is a miscellaneous angular shape.
