English: An Iron Age Gallo-Belgic gold quarter stater of the Morini dating to the period 50-45 BC. It measures 12.73mm in diameter and weighs 1.4g.

Obverse: Stylised boat with two standing figures
Reverse: Cruciform thunderbolt motif with various objects in the angles

Reference: Van A 143-1; BMC 410-413; ABC 767
Very early British struck gold coinage or possibly a Gaulish import, the obverse has affinities with coins of the Morini. Many from Hampshire.
