Summary
[edit]DescriptionIr spectroscope.jpg |
English: This is a close up shot photo of a home made spectroscope, being used on an incadescent to detect the near infrared light incadescents emit as heat. This is to show that anyone trying to explore spectroscopy and infrared spectroscopy, can use a full spectrum camera, and a home made spectroscope to detect near infrared light from an artificial light source. A simple home made spectroscope can be made from paper towel road and a cd as a diffraction grating. CDs are optical storage so the surface of a cd diffracts light into the spectrum. |
