In 1936, the couple toured the United States, and was feted at many celebratory occasions. An elaborate brochure for the April 14, 1936, banquet hosted by women chemists at an American Chemical Society meeting in Kansas City, for example, praised the importance of their work and their devotion to science Cite as: Acc. 90-105 - Science Service, Records, 1920s-1970s, Smithsonian Institution Archives Persistent URL, Smithsonian Institution |
