Summary

[edit]
Description
English: X-ray scattering factor of iodine (Z=53) as a function of sinθ/λ. In black, f0 is the scattering factor without anomalous scattering correction, far from the absorption edges of iodine. The blue and red curves are the real part of the scattering factor taking into account the anomalous scattering for 2.75Å and 1.94Å, respectively. Three L-absorption edges of iodine lie between these two wavelengths. Data from International Tables for Crystallography, vol. C, 1999.
