This graph image could be re-created using vector graphics as an SVG file. This has several advantages; see Commons:Media for cleanup for more information. If an SVG form of this image is available, please upload it and afterwards replace this template with {{vector version available|new image name}}.

It is recommended to name the SVG file “Inverter voltage transfer curve.svg”—then the template Vector version available (or Vva) does not need the new image name parameter.

Summary

[edit]

Voltages marked on the graph

[edit]
VOH: Output High - output above this mark is considered on (1)
VOL: Output Low - output below this mark is considered off (0)
VIH: Input High - input at or above this mark will turn the device off
VIL: Input Low - input at or below this mark will turn the device on
Vm: Midpoint Voltage - used for calculating noise margins, gain, and other parameters

I am the author (Nader Moussa). I constructed this data from a device I built for my ECE442 class at North Carolina State University. This is a Voltage Transfer Curve used to analyze a digital inverter circuit. The data represents a general behavior for similar devices. Since I am the author, I release it to public domain.
