About two acres of land and flats running out to the channel. NearGeorge St. there is a new brick power station and stack, with coal wharfand run in the rear, built by the West End Street Railway Co. during 1896.(See two upper pictures on page #61 .) Further along on George St. there is a frame dwelling house with threeentrances containing tenements of six, five, and four rooms. This build-ing has a very poor foundation and is in poor condition. (See lower pic-ture on page #61 .) • 59
