Description U.S. Army Corps of Engineers quality assurance supervisor Mike Chirpich explains to TV station KY3 of Springfield, Mo., June 30, 2011 how we're keeping our staff out working in Joplin's summer heat cool and safe. The Corps is managing debris removal as part of the federal tornado recovery effort, with quality assurance specialists monitoring the removal for up to 12 hours a day.
