stomach as living yeast. If the patient is troubled withgas formation, it is preferable to use killed yeast, or toadminister living yeast between meals. FLEISCHMANNS COMPRESSED YEAST wasused in these tests exclusively—the same yeast used bybakers and housewives in making bread, and obtainablein the familiar tinfoil package from grocers generally. Itis the species Saccharomyces Cerevisiae, scientificallycultured and kept free from contamination by wild yeastor other impurity. FLEISCHMANNS COMPRESSED YEAST, identical withthat used by Dr. Hawk, may be secured fresh daily in most grocerystores. Or, write The Fleischmann Co. in the nearest large city, andit will be mailed direct on days wanted. Dr. Hawks report, in convenient form for filing, including interesting infor-mation on the production of yeast, has been distributed to physicians. If not receivedby you, please advise and copy will be forwarded. The Fleischmann Company, New York Cincinnati, Ohio Seattle, Wash. San Francisco, Cal.
