Description

The Interislander ferry Aratere maneuvering its way alongside the wharf at Picton on the South Island side of Cook Strait.

The Aratere is due to leave shortly for Singapore where it is to be extended by 30 metres to 183 metres in length, considerably increasing its rail, vehicle and passenger-carrying capacities.
