Title
English: Interior of the Paris Brothers Billiard and Lunch Room, Auburn, circa 1925
Description
English:

According to Seattle city directories, Ben Paris and his brother John opened a pool parlor on California Avenue in West Seattle in 1911. Starting in 1917, the brothers operated a series of billiard parlors in downtown Seattle. Here, patrons could buy snacks while they played pocket and English billiards. They could also get a haircut in the parlor's barbershop. Paris Bros. opened a billiard parlor and lunch room in Auburn, Washington in the 1920s. The company also expanded into snack concessions and sporting goods. This photo, probably taken in the 1920s, shows the interior of the Paris Bros. billiard parlor and restaurant in Auburn, Washington."
