View of the Little Studio interior

Interior of the Little Studio. Built in 1904, Augustus Saint-Gaudens worked here by himself, his assistants worked in the larger studio nearby. In the foreground is a half-size cast of the Diana sculpture which in 1892, was the weathervane atop the 347 ft. tower of Madison Square Garden. At the time, this was the higher point in Manhattan.
