Die Gefühle der Abwesenheit, derVergessenheit, der schmerzlichen Vereinsamung,welche in der Seele mancher Zuhörer beim Auf-leben dieser schwermütigen Weise entstehen,würden nicht zum vierten Teil so eindringlichwirken, wenn dieselbe von einem anderen In-strument als dem Englischen Hörn wiedergege-ben würde.
