Buenos Aires, 30 de julio de 2014 - El Museo Malvinas e Islas del Atlántico Sur, del Ministerio de cultura de la Nación, realizó un acto en el que se descubrió la Bandera Patria Mía que recorrió todo el territorio nacional hasta llegar a las Islas Malvinas en septiembre del 2013: se expone un fragmento de esta bandera de 200 metros que cruzó el país. Estuvieron presentes Maridel Cano y Abel Acevedo, autores de la obra; el intendente de La Costa Juan Pablo de Jesús, el secretario de Asuntos Relativos a las Islas Malvinas, Daniel Filmus y el director del Museo Malvinas, Jorge Giles.
