Français : Instabilité aérodynamique d'un ballon à hélium lors de son ascension : De par sa forme, ce ballon développe un jeu de portance et de déportance qui le rend aérodynamiquement instable, c.-à-d. que son Centre de Pression Aérodynamique se trouve en avant de son Centre des Masses. Dès qu'il prend de la vitesse, le ballon fait une embardée, se met en travers (ce qui le freine) puis reprend sa position verticale (son Centre d'Archimède étant au-dessus de son Centre des Masses), puis reprend de la vitesse et ainsi de suite en atmosphère libre...
English: Aerodynamic instability of a helium balloon during its ascent: Due to its shape, this balloon develops a set of lift and antilift which makes it aerodynamically unstable, i.e. its Center of Aerodynamic Pressure is in front of its Center of Masses. |
