Summary

[edit]
Description
English: One of the four corners of Shah Jahan and Mumtaz Mehal's bedroom at Agra fort. The floral carvings you see were all covered with solid gold and the at top of the corner, the box like structures were fitted with diamonds. The carvings now appear black as a result of Britishers melting down all the gold for the royal treasure. Imagine the times when this bedroom was actually used by the Mughal family. The walls decorated with gold and diamonds and other precious stone.
