Description Inside Robin Hood Bay cob cottage, a "mud & stud construction" cob cottage built ca. 1848 as a whalers cottage. The walls are constructed from heart totara timber studs and then filled with a cob mixture. The roof has been renovated.[1] (Heritage New Zealand historic place category 2, list number 1473)
