English: Inside Pillbox A271 Viewed from the embrasure facing Walnigh Brook with the embrasure covering the southern approaches of Hamsey Cut on the far side though clearly now overgrown. The concrete structure to the left is a blast wall built to protect those on one side of the pillbox should the other be attacked with grenades. The graffiti indicates that the pillbox is accessible for those who want to enter. |
