St. Michaels Churchyard 155 Sacredto the memory of MRS. MARTHA KINLOCH Daughter of the Hon. John Rutledge, deceased. and wife of Francis Kinloch. To an energy of mind equal to all the accidents of life and to a serious and delicate sense of propriety, founded on a knowledge of her religious and moral duties were united in this most lamented woman. The gentlest manners, a cultivated understanding and a most tender and compassionate Heart This Humble memorial of her,who was for many years his constantand invaluable friend & companion, was erected by her Husband. She died March 1 st. in the year of our Lord1816 and of her age the 52d. (E. 3.) 56 Inscriptions on Gravestones ELIZA ANN LADSON,Relict of JAMES H. LADSON:Born 20th. November, 1 796, Died 4th. January, 1873. A life replete with christian graces;adorned with every social and domestic virtue; rendered beauteous by the ornament of a meek and quiet spirit, was yielded without a pang to mark the transition from time to eternity.
