Deutsch: Der Meilenstein an der römischen Staatsstraße Via Raetia von Verona über Innsbruck nach Augsburg erhielt besondere Bedeutung, als der Altertumswissenschaftler Theodor Mommsen (1817-1903) dessen Inschrift CIL III, 5988 und die auf einem zweiten Stein irrtümlich als Hinweis auf eine fiktive Via Decia deutete, einer angeblichen Querverbindung von Bregenz nach Innsbruck.
