Deutsch: Innsbruck, Goldenes Dachl, obere Brüstung, Relief Mitte links.
Das Relief zeigt Maximilian I., Kaiser des Heiligen Römischen Reiches Deutscher Nation, anlässlich seiner Vermählung im Jahre 1494 mit Bianca Maria Sforza von und dahinter seine 1482 verstorbene erste Gemahlin Maria von Burgund. Den goldenen Apfel, den Bianca Maria in der Hand hält, soll sie nach der Regel des Maruschkaspiels dem besten der Tänzer überreichen, von deren Darbietungen die benachbarten Reliefs einen Eindruck vermitteln. Der Maruschkatanz war ein aus dem maurischen Spanien gekommener rhythmischer Modetanz; bei dem der einzige Musiker zugleich Handtrommel und Flöte spielte und der bei den repräsentativen Festlichkeiten der Hochzeit aufgeführt wurde. |
