Summary
[edit]DescriptionInjustice (1919) (Loyal Hearts) - Ad 1.jpg |
English: Newspaper ad for the American race film Injustice (1919) under its alternative title Loyal Hearts starring Sidney Preston Dones "and a cast of colored players." Although the ad states that this is the "greatest race picture ever screened," it is apparently not currently listed in the IMDB. It is listed in the Progressive Silent Film List of silentera.com, which notes the alternative title and states that a different distribution company L-Ko Pictures Corporation recut the film and added new footage and advertised it as a comedy. This ad under the title Loyal Hearts is consistent with this in its tagline, "A little comedy - a little sadness." On page 5 of the The St. Louis Argus. |
