Summary
[edit]Norman's Cove as seen from the top of Baldy Mountain, above Indian Lake, NY.
Norman's Cove on the east side of Indian Lake is the point of access to Baldy Mountain, an easy 2 mile hike with a spectacular panoramic view of Indian Lake. This is a favorite hike of summer tourists and long-time residents alike. It is frequently the first "real" hike for young children. A picnic at the top of Baldy is a life-long memory. The trail for this lovely climb was originally cut and marked by Sabael resident Ernest Fish.
