Description

Agra Fort is a UNESCO World Heritage site. It is also known as Lal Qila, Fort Rouge and Red Fort of Agra. It is about 2.5 km northwest of the Taj Mahal. The fort can be more accurately described as a walled palatial city. Agra, India


I believe this the front of Mina Masjid. Shah Jehan built it between 1631-40, this mosque was meant to be used by the emperor and the royal ladies. Thus, it was placed close to the palaces of the imperial women. According to the surviving rumors, Shah Jehan used it between 1658-66, during the end of his days.
