Incomplete early Roman or late Iron Age bow brooch
Description
English: Roman brooch; Incomplete cast copper alloy bow brooch of late Iron Age or early Roman date (1st century AD). The fragment is a simple, long, narrow, tapering bow with no extant decoration. There are no remains of wings, pin or catchplate, although the position of the catchplate is discernible from a ridge along the back of the foot end of the bow.

Length 61.5mm, width 8.8mm, thickness 4.6mm, weight 6.44g
