Description |
English: Incomplete horse harness pendant, worn, corroded and bent. Broken across the perforation in the suspension-loop that retains corroded remains of the iron pin. The springing of the loop is flanked by two slight vertical mouldings and the body is in the form of an early shield-shape with rounded shoulders and with two opposed concave cut-outs with ends projecting beyond sides. There are two almond-shaped perforations in the centre of the shield. 27 x (unbent) >39mm. |
