Description
Español: "Casa de Expósitos. Inclusa; edificio particular, construído para casa sanitaria, pasó a ser propiedad pública, destinándose para inclusa, por ser inapropiada la antigua cuna erijida por el virrey Vértiz el 14 de julio de 1779." La antigua Casa Cuna se mudó hacia 1873 a este edificio construído en lo alto de la Barranca de Santa Lucía; conocido hacia la fecha como "Casa de Expósitos" fue su primer director el Dr. Juan A. Argerich. Actualmente funciona allí el Hospital General de Niños "Dr. Pedro de Elizalde", ubicado en la avenida Montes de Oca del barrio porteño de Constitución, se lo considera uno de los hospitales pediátricos más antiguos del continente.
