English: Incline and drumhouse, Prince of Wales quarry View of the top of the incline and the remains of the building which housed the brake drum for controlling the movement of wagons. The incline was a typical gravity-powered arrangement, the weight of laden wagons descending to the mill being used to haul the empties back up via a cable passed around the brake drum. |
