Ince Minare Medrese Museum exterior evening

Summary

[edit]
Description
English: The Turkish name now is İnce Minare Taş Eserler Müzesi (The museum of stone pieces (in) the Medrese with the slender minaret). It was built between 1260-1265 by the vizier Sahip Ata Fahettin Ali. At that time no clear difference was made between a mosque and a medrese. The minaret has since lost most of its uppoer parts. Taking pictures of the building with its imposing entrance has the advantage that it isolates it from its surroundings, and brings out some extra contrast.
