Description |
The Palais de l'industrie was constructed in the mid-1850's to house the Exposition of 1855 and for public, civil and military events. It was destroyed in the late 19th century. The woman wears a gray and black dress with a lace collar, supported by a crinoline, that reveals her ankles. She also wears a fur hat. |
