Description
English: Complex mechanisms which, from the movements produced by polarized electromechanical relays traversed by telegraph currents, carry out printing, line feeds, carriage returns, etc. The characters are engraved on a vertical axis character wheel with a transmission by gimbals. The principles of transmission and synchronization are those of the family of Hughes telegraphs. The energy needed for operation came from a spring-loaded clockwork mechanism.
Français : Mécanismes complexes qui à partir des mouvements produits par des relais électromécaniques polarisés parcourus par les courants télégraphiques effectuent l'impression, les sauts de lignes, les retours chariot etc.. Les caractères sont gravés sur une roue porte-caractères à axe vertical avec une transmission par cardans. Les principes de transmission, de synchronisation sont ceux de la famille des télégraphes Hughes. L'énergie nécessaire pour le fonctionnement provenait d'un mécanisme d'horlogerie à ressort.
