A Cozy ( onirr ,n ihc i;„rj;e Iark, Victoria. U. C. THE MOST POPULAR RESORT.The Gorge is one of Victorias most popularBeauty Spots. As a resort for young men andmaidens it has no equal on the Pacific Coast. Itcan be reached by row boat, motor launch, driving,automobile or by the Electric Street Railway. Thelatter company has recently purchased a beautifulnatural park adjoining the Gorge and is spending alarge amount of money in laying out summerpleasure grounds. This year a new Japanese TeaGarden, which will be an exact reproduction of abit of Japan, will be added. The City Council hasalso purchased a large amount of water frontage onthe other side of the Gorge for park purposes.

VICTORIAS NEWEST RECREATION GROUND FOR RESIDENTS AND VISITORS.The new Park at the Gorge, opened last year by the Electric Railway Company, is a greataddition to the attractions of Victoria, being situated on an arm of the sea sheltered from allprevailing winds, provided with pavilions, bathing facilities and amusements for children and youngpeople.
