測量法について、この略図と大日本帝國陸地測量部の地図には以下の相違があるため、大日本帝國陸地測量部の地図を元に作成されたものではなく、警視庁が作成したものである。

  • 新宿御苑北西の旭町の東の道路が、大日本帝國陸地測量部の地図では表現されていないか、角に建物が記載されているが、この図では角から道路が伸びている
  • 旭町近くの渋谷区・新宿区の境界線が僅かにずれている
  • 新宿御苑北東端の位置がずれている
