Description
English: The original building of the Immaculate Conception parish in the 1880s, located along Plaza de Don Juan Salcedo, Zamboanga, Zamboanga Province, Philippine Islands. It was built in 1870 out of wood and concrete. The image of the Immaculate Conception was located at the main altar, with two Jesuit saints Ignatius of Loyola and Francis Xavier on each side. Bombarded by Japanese soldiers in 1943, then completely destroyed by a fire in 1944.
