English: Original caption for this image: THE CAMPAIGN AGAINST THE BLOUSE - Vengeful tailor, reformist: "I am against the blouse, I am against the corset, I am against everything that encloses the woman's chest. Down there is my motto." (Viennese Caricature, 1904.) (*) In Vienna, tailors have established themselves with the title or brand, as we like, of: reformist tailors, hence the present caricature dressing the woman without compressing it in any part of the body. This is, moreover, a question which particularly preoccupies a group of hygienists, who, leaving aside aesthetics, are looking for a convenient, rational and uncomplicated design. In the advertisements of certain newspapers, in Germany and Holland, one even sees, the following indication: "Rational and reformed German costume." It is therefore not surprising that this question still occupies a large place in Austrian and German imagery.
