Description

Dependências do Senado Federal: Túnel do Tempo.

O túnel que liga o Edifício Principal ao Anexo II do Senado é conhecido como Túnel do Tempo. Em suas paredes há uma exposição permanente intitulada "O Senado Brasileiro – do Império à República". A mostra retrata parte da trajetória social, política e histórica do Senado, desde sua criação, com a Constituição outorgada por D. Pedro I em 1824, até a legislatura atual. Os painéis estão dispostos em ordem cronológica: na parede à esquerda estão informações do período Imperial e da Primeira República; na parede à direita, o período do Estado Novo até os dias atuais.
