Passing by the tomb ofDarius, already described, I may remark that the fagade of the third tomb, the one on its left, is comparatively well preserved,much better in fact than that of Darius, and we must regretthat we cannot be sure whether we are looking at the sepulchreof Xerxes or not.* The fourth and last of the group is nearerthe ground than the others and is the most damaged of them all.Like the others, moreover, it is empty.
