Text Appearing Before Image: s ein geringschätziges Lächeln hat,die zahlreichen Verknüpfungen derselben mit dem Er-fahrungsgebiete des Arztes und der Psychologie dar-zustellen und auf die zahlreichen wichtigen Fragen hin-zuweisen, welche dieses unerforschte Gebiet noch für unsbirgt. Den Anstoss zu dieser Arbeit gab mir die Ueber-zeugung, dass auf diesem Gebiete eine reiche Ernte fürdie Eifahrungspsychologie reift, und das Bewusstsein,dass unsere deutsche Wissenschaft sich noch viel zuwenig dieser Probleme annimmt. Letzterer Grund gabmir auch Veranlassung, die Erörterung eines Somnam-bulismusfalles aus dem rein pathologischen Gebiet vor-auszuschicken, um im Allgemeinen über die Stellungder Somnambulen zur Pathologie zu orientieren. In diesem Sinne hoffe ich, dass meine Arbeit mitdazu beitragen werde, der Wissenschaft einen Wegzur fortschreitenden Aufklärung und Assimilation dernoch viel umstrittenen Psychologie des Unbewussten zubahnen. ^^(^■^ COUNTWAY LIBRARY OF MEDICINE BF 175 J95 RARE BOOKS DEPARTMENT
