The coal handling apparatus is simple, consisting of apit running the length of the power house, with rails laidabove, so that the coal can be dumped direct. A series ofarches open from the pit to the boiler room floor. It may be of interest to note that the company has a coal mineimmediately outside the power house, and coal is dumpeddirectly into the coal bin.
