Invested witha cream-colored glaze and printed, in sepia, with circularami oval medallions occupied by a woman in classic robeswarming her hands at a tripod and with gold lines. Setconsists of teapot, shuttle-shaped stand, sucrier, creamer,one cake plate and six cups and saucers. Teapot and standand cake plate are of pottery. (lUuttrattd) 210— Rockingham Porcelain- Plate Nineteenth CenturyCarved rim with scalloped edge. Invested with a white glazeand decorated, the center on a gray ground, with a branchof flowering laurel and a hand of acanthus leaves in gold,the rim on a white ground, with scrolls, leaves in gold anda border of acanthus leaves in gray and gold.
