The jaguars cautiousapproach is due to the fear of getting caught in the constrictorfolds of the giant serpent. He is bound to catch him behindthe head and break his back before he can be entangled in thePythons coils. Signed at the lower right, Bar ye. Height, 11/2 inches; length, 16% inches.
